COOMA-Monaro properties will be better promoted across the Capital region when a local real estate agent begins working in Queanbeyan.

David Stanmore has recently sold out as partner and resigned as licensee from Ray White Cooma in order to take up a more hands on role in Queanbeyan, and better promote the Monaro as a place to invest.

"I've made the change to take a more active role in sales without the worry of day-to-day office management," Mr Stanmore said.

"In doing this I can better promote the Monaro, including areas such as Michelago, Bredbo, Captains Flat and Jerangle, to the Capital and beyond from a Queanbeyan office, which has a better interface with a larger community," he said.

Mr Stanmore will still base himself at Cooma and travel to the high profile Queanbeyan agency a few days a week.

"I really would like to encourage more people to buy into the region," he said.
