Aspiring soccer stars have the chance to hone their skills and touch up their technique when the Cooma Football Club in conjunction with Sportzplay host a three-day coaching clinic during the school holidays.

The Coerver coaching clinic is a world class technical program used by legendary players, clubs and coaches in the world including English Premier League side Manchester United and UEFA champions AC Milan - and it's coming to Cooma.

Sportzplay's Jason Warren-Smith said it's a great opportunity for budding soccer players to improve their confidence and skill with such an innovative and high-profile coaching program.

"It's a big draw card good to see Cooma Football Club going forward and trying to develop the kids," Mr Warren-Smith said.

"The individual skills will improve the overall team performances and each child will improve from the start to the finish of the clinic," he said.

Coerver coaching is an individual technical program developed in the Netherlands and adopted worldwide.

The three day clinic from July 14-16 is for boys and girls between five and 15 and according to Coerver coaching, this is the optimum stage to develop skills.

Cost of the clinic is $135 but Mr Warren-Smith said there will be alternative payment methods for anyone who is very keen but can't afford the cost upfront.

Everyone who attends will receive drinks, a certificate, a t-shirt, a home training program and an Adidas Football.

Registration forms are available at schools so register quickly to avoid missing out as there are limited spots and it's "first in best dressed".
