Corey Bedingfield, having lost twice to Justin Bolton throughout the competition, played inspired squash to spring a surprise three game win for the Brumbies.

The much-improved Craig Wheatley squared the ledger for the Sharks by defeating Tony Slater in three games.

John Kleven found Ross Pratt a difficult opponent, losing the third game 9-2, but eventually getting the better of proceedings, winning 9-1 in the fourth.

Andrew Freeburn was expected to bring the Sharks home but his opponent Luke Abraham had other ideas producing match winning performance, winning in three games to leave the Brumbies one game in front after both teams had secured two rubbers.

The B grade final was another close contest with the Cheetahs scraping home by just one game over the Crocodiles.

The Crocodiles started well with Sarah Hamilton having a tough match against Justin Downie winning 9-2 in the fifth.

Things got getter for the Crocodiles with Lachlan King playing good squash to defeat Irene Tozer in three close games.

Diana Johnson got the Cheetahs campaign underway with a three games to one win over Ben Norton.

Tara Pateman sealed the issue for the Cheetahs with a classy display of controlled squash against Sarah Hamilton, (who subbed in for Karlee Patemen) defeating her in all games to give the Cheetahs just the one game winning margin.

The C grade final was a beauty with the Eagles sneaking home by just 11 points.

Sam de Ruijter and Alexander Walters both had four game wins over Courtney Lewis and Anne Tame.
